What makes something fashionable?
In today’s world, when being fashionable is much about individualism and all the eras seem to be in trend, it can be tricky to decide what to buy and where. It is really about the total look and how it is carried. A vintage sweater may look dated when worn with a certain type of shoe, but perfectly on trend when worn with another. It is just a matter of defining your own style amidst current trends and adapting them to suit your body and personality to create something special.

What to look out for
Fashionable does not have to mean expensive - you may get just as much attention for thrifted or ebay-bought items as you would for luxury items. Seasonal trends are set at fairs and fashion weeks and WGSN is a great source to predict trends, while reading fashion articles will offer you more tips and inspiration.
Where is the best shopping in Malta?
There’s no ‘best place’ in Malta for shopping - it really depends what you’re looking for. Sliema and Valletta are probably the first places to look.
