The Opera Locos, an international show that combines opera hits with rock and pop classics together with a comedic twist is coming to the Manoel theatre this December.

It will be a night to remember for the whole family!

The Opera Locos features a troupe of five eccentric and exceptional lyrical singers, as they perform a repertoire of the greatest composers of their genre.

Cleverly fusing these well-known opera hits with rock and pop classics in the most original way, the performers reveal their hidden passions and desires throughout the show, with unpredictable and hilarious consequences.

The Opera Locos has already received rave reviews in more than 300 cities across Europe, Asia and Latin America. It was named Best Musical at The Max Awards for the Performing Arts in 2019, Spain’s equivalent to the Tony Awards or the UK’s Laurence Olivier Award.

Apart from the hilarious and breath-taking physical theatre, The Opera Locos features a rich programme of operatic hits including music from The Magic Flute, The Barber of Seville, La Traviata, Turandot and much more.

On the 11th December, The Opera Locos will perform two shows at the Manoel theatre, one at 6pm and another at 8.30pm.

With a duration of around 85 minutes, the show is suitable for audiences aged six and above.
