We're big fans of Daniel Azzopardi here at GuideMeMalta, and remember way back to when he started his fashion blog, The Devil Wears Pra-duh, in 2012 - way before anyone had heard of the frequently used term "influencer"!
Nowadays, Daniel is most active on Instagram and Youtube, amassing 12k views on his premiere video since he launched his channel a few weeks ago. It's pretty safe to say he's found his calling, and we're so pleased he has too, as he brings in the lols with every single episode!
We caught up with Daniel himself for the lowdown on what spots he likes to hit up in the place he calls home, Gozo, when he's not filming and editing his latest vids, that is! We don't know about you, but we'd love to be taken on this tour and grab some brunch and bargains! Here's what he had to share with GuideMeMalta.
1. For a spot of brunch
"A toss up between Black Cat Cafe and Mojo's, both in Victoria, you win either way because both are delicious! For coffee I'd have to say my winner is Capitan Spriss hands down."
2. For relaxing beach days
"This is a tie between Daħlet Qorrot and Ħondoq. Daħlet Qorrot is Nadur's best kept secret... take a ftira from the village centre down with you and thank me later."
3. For gettin' thrifty
"Those who follow me know I am quite the thrifting connoisseur, and Gozo's options are surprisingly really good! The best spot is of course the Marsalforn car boot sale that happens once a month - so many great clothes, antiques and other lil gems!"
4. For breathtaking views
"There are so many! Some of my favourites are the super Instagrammable Mixta Cave, the view from on top of Ċittadella and the unforgettable sunset you can see from Francesco's at Żebbug (the pizza is A+ too if that helps!)."
5. For leisurely weekends
"Gozo is literally full-time leisure, but some of my fave spots are Villa Rundle at Victoria, Wied il-Lunzjata after a bit of rain or anywhere with my dogs!"
Thanks Daniel! We're looking forward to your next Youtube vid, as always!
