Description View from the western side of Monte Vulcano, the highest of three major volcanic cones on the island of Linosa, toward the village of Linosa. The cone of Monte Nero - a youthful feature with a well-preserved summit crater - is in the distance, while the rounded hill located somewhat closer to the observer is the rim of the Fossa Capellano explosion (phreatomagmatic) crater. Photomosaic taken 28 July 2007.
