Following on from a number of previously successful schemes which also included a cat neutering service, the initiative is being organised by the Ministry of Gozo and Animal Welfare Gozo.

The aim of the Cat Cafes will be to provide a safe space for the many stray cats on the island, in which they can shelter from the elements. They’ll also be fed and cared for by local feeders.

The Ministry is currently working with local councils to identify the best locations for these cafés, and we can’t wait till they’re up and running!
