In-Nuffara once made part of the archaeological site of Borg in-Nadur, overlooking St Gorge’s Bay. This isolated plateau is situated between Ggantija and in-Nadur, two historical places in Gozo. Historical excavations were once found in this site however, most of the huts which were standing there since 1500 BC were destroyed by natural causes. Luckily, there are still some grain storage pits that can still be seen by visitors.
