Ta' Kola Windmill
Bambina Street, Xaghra, Gozo
Historical Site

One of the few surviving windmills on the Maltese Islands dating back to the times of the Knights of Malta. Its origins go back to 1725 during the magistracy of Grand Master Manoel de Vilhena (1722-36). This site provides a glimpse of the local traditional rural life on the island of Gozo in the past centuries. It houses one of the largest known collections of tools, some of which were manufactured by the last miller who lived inside the mill.
