This Red Beach as translated from the name, is situated just along Mgarr Harbour, close to the Ferry terminal. It is a popular diving site, especially since approximately 40 meters deep, one can find the wrecks of MV Cominoland and MV Karela which scuttled together in 2006 and MV Xlendi which was scuttled in 1999. All the Ferryboats which were once used to transport people to and from Malta and Gozo are an excellent sight to explore if anyone is interested in past Maltese transportation. The beach itself houses varies fishing boats and houses along its shore.
