Hosted by the Vilhena Palace, within the walled city of Mdina, the museum’s displays cover various topics such as Maltese Geology and Paleonthology, exotic animals, marine fauna, insects, shells, birds, terrestrial and marine ecosystems, and human evolution. The Museum doubles up as the national repository of biological specimens.
