Waiving of CVA among new initiatives announced to bring Malta’s capital back to life
Coming into effect in July, the Controlled Vehicle Access (CVA) will be waived from Monday to Sunday up until September. This was announced in a press conference today as part of an economic plan launched to bring Malta’s capital back to life.
Apart from the waiving of CVA, another transport-related initiatives is coming into effect to attract people to Valletta. The ferry services to and from the capital at Sliema and Cottonera respectively will be free of charge each day from 6pm to midnight for the summer months. Sailing to the capital guarantees a pleasant journey and hey, you won’t need to hassle to find parking. Win win!
