Malta Public Transport organising special bus services for Gozo Nadur Carnival 2023

Malta Public Transport is set to operate special bus services for the upcoming Nadur Carnival 2023 in Gozo, taking place on the 17th, 18th, and 19th of February 2023.

On Friday 17th February 2023, a direct bus service will operate from Victoria to Nadur every 30 minutes between 8pm and 12am.

In addition, a shuttle service will operate from Mgarr Ferry to Nadur with each scheduled ferry (including extra ferry trips) happening between 7pm to 12am.

Special Services will operate at 1am (Saturday early morning) from Nadur to Xaghra, Xewkija, Victoria, Ghajnsielem, Qala, and other localities.

On Saturday 18th February 2023, a direct bus service will operate from Victoria to Nadur every 15 minutes between 8pm and 12am.

The shuttle service from Mgarr Ferry to Nadur will also operate with each scheduled ferry (including extra ferry trips) between 7pm to 12am.

Special services will operate at 1am and 2:30am (Sunday early morning) from Nadur to Xaghra, Xewkija, Victoria, Ghajnsielem, Qala, and other localities.

A special service will also be provided with the arrival of Gozo Ferry at Cirkewwa from 11pm to 3:30pm (Sunday early morning). The special service will be provided to Mellieha, Xemxija, St.Paul’s Bay, Bugibba, and other localities.

On Sunday 19th February 2023, a direct bus service will operate from Victoria to Nadur every 15 minutes between 8pm and 11pm.

Special service will operate at 11pm from Nadur to Xaghra, Xewkija, Victoria, Ghajnsielem, Qala, and other localities.

On Carnival Sunday, 19th February 2023, bus routes will operate the normal Sunday routes across Malta. However, because of the high demand, the frequency of the following bus routes will increase from noon onwards: Route 31, 46, 48, 49, 71, 82, 84, 91, 61, and 62.

All the special bus services provided will also fall under the Free Public Transport initiative.
