Looks like temperatures are finally dropping...

December is fast approaching, which supposedly means that temperatures are going down and unstable weather is a lot more frequent.

According to ‘Maltese Islands Weather', we are a set to experience a sudden drop in temperatures as from Sunday onwards, with a low of 13°C.

We can also expect some heavy thunderstorms this upcoming Sunday with winds going as high as Force Eight.

Temperatures are expected to remain as low as 14°C in the days following Sunday with the winds still going as high as Force Eight on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

However, the meteorological office at the Malta International Airport (MIA) is giving a slightly different report.

They’re still predicting a huge thunderstorm this upcoming Sunday but they’re reporting that the temperature is only dropping as low as 16°C. This is still significantly low so make sure to get those warm jumpers out of the back of your wardrobe.

The wind on the other hand, is set to reach Force Six which is still quite high and one should definitely still exercise caution.

According to the meteorological office at MIA, there might be a chance of a thunderstorm this upcoming Wednesday as well.

Either way, both reports most definitely show that strong winter weather is soon fast approaching us and we can start kissing any elements of summer weather goodbye!

Do you enjoy the cold weather?
