Take note! Gozo Channel temporarily suspends service on Christmas and New Year
No ferries will be operating from 12pm to 3pm.

The Gozo Channel’s pretty important for anyone wishing to visit family this festive season – however the ferries’ employees need a break too…

That’s why, on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day, the Gozo Channel will be suspending its service from 12pm to 3pm, thus allowing its employees to enjoy lunch with their families.

This means that the 12pm, 12:45pm, 1pm, 1:45pm, 2pm, and 2:30pm ferries from Mgarr to Cirkewwa will not be operating.

Neither will the 12:15pm, 12:45pm, 1:30pm, 1:45pm, 2:15pm, 2:30pm and 2:45pm ferries from Cirkewwa to Mgarr.

The service will re-start with a 3:00pm trip from Mgarr to Cirkewwa and a 3:15pm trip from Cirkewwa to Mgarr.

Does this disrupt your commuting plans?
