The new timetable starts operating on 1st July.
Summer’s officially upon us and it’s just a matter of time before crowds upon crowds of tourists and locals start making their way from Malta to Gozo and back.
In light of the busy month ahead, the Gozo fast ferry services have just announced a new, ‘more convenient’ timetable wherein trips between Mgarr, Gozo and Valletta are going to be more frequent.
New trips at 12:15pm, 7:15pm, and 8:15pm will be leaving the Gozo and Valletta harbours simultaneously.
Having said that, the trips from Valletta at 5:15pm and 9:15pm have completely disappeared from the schedule.
The last trip from Gozo between Monday and Wednesday departs at 9:15pm whilst the last scheduled journey between Thursday and Sunday is at 11:15pm.
From Monday to Wednesday, the last ferry to leave Valletta’s shores departs at 8:15pm whilst on Thursday and weekends the last trip is at 10:15pm.
The new timetable comes into effect on 1st July.
Will you be making use of the fast ferry this Summer?
