Copenhagen took the top spot.
After a thorough study, Valletta has officially been named as the ninth best city for antique lovers in all of Europe.
This was a result of the capital city’s highly rated antique shops and its numbers of shops per capita.
The study was conducted by Confused.com where the researchers created a points-based index system evaluating the volume and quality of antique stores in 51 European cities. Each country received an antique index score out of 10.
As a matter of fact, Valletta scored an impressive 7.5 out of 10 in the antique index due to its incredible availability of beautiful vintage furniture, unique home items and antique jewellery.
The city of Copenhagen in Denmark took the top spot when scoring an 8.66 out of 10.
Riga, Amsterdam, Bergen, Diekirch, Vilnius, Dublin, Cork followed after Denmark in terms of score.
When it came to calculating the ratings from customers, Valletta had the third highest rated antique stores in all of Europe at 4.73.
