WATCH: Beautiful and playful dolphins spotted by Malta’s White Reef
What playful creatures!

Kim Vella

Luckily enough for us, there has been a noticeable increase in dolphin sightings in Malta waters this summer.

This time a pod of dolphins were spotted just off the Maltese coastline near White Reef or Sikka l-Bajda in Maltese, found near the Marfa Ridge.

This reef is one of the Island’s largest, dotted with mysterious inlets and caves - perfect for any water creature to enjoy.

In footage taken by Clive Mallia, a pod of at least four dolphins can be seen swimming just a few meters away from the boat.

Dolphins are known for their fun-loving nature. This video is evidence of this as they can be seen jumping in and out of the water in excitement.

If you’re lucky enough to spot a pod of these playful creatures, don’t forget to register your sighting on the sight me page to help collect data about bottlenose dolphins around Malta.
