Teach ‘em young!

A group of students from the Qala and Sannat Primary Schools came together to clean up the idyllic Hondoq Bay from litter.

Qala Mayor Paul Buttigieg took to social media to celebrate this initiative, whilst sharing some images of the event.

“Well done to the organisers of this activity, because it teaches children how to take care of the environment,” Mr Buttigieg wrote.

The photos show students at the bay, buckets-in-hand, receiving instructions ahead of the clean-up.

Many readers took to the post’s comments section to commend this initiative.

Well done, guys!
